About AvanzData
Building Governed Data Computation
Avanz Data develops technology for governed data computation in enterprise environments. Our work focuses on making the transition from existing source data to controlled computational output more explicit, governed and reliable.
What Defines Our Work
Our Computing Thesis
Enterprise data does not derive analytical meaning from structure alone. The context in which data is organized and computed also matters. Avanz Data is developing a computation model in which data identity, computational context and controlled release are treated as explicit parts of the analytical architecture.
The Subject Computation Model
The same physical data can support different analytical computations depending on the subject around which it is organized. A dataset containing people, contracts and transactions, for example, can produce different computational partitions when the active subject context changes. This subject-bound computation model forms part of Avanz Data's broader research and the evolving Enterprise architecture of Avanzderiv.
From Research to Product
Avanzderiv is the product platform through which Avanz Data implements this approach. The current product focuses on governed objects, deterministic computation and controlled data release, while the broader research program extends toward subject-bound computation and subject-oriented analytical models.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make governed computation a practical layer of enterprise data architecture, allowing organizations to work with existing data while introducing clearer boundaries between source data, computation and downstream release.
